Lewistown Covenant Church

The Lewistown Alliance Church will be hosting Zoomerang VBS June 5-9 with dinner at 6 p.m. VBS programming is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to children in grades 3-5. Registration and information can be found at

Grace United Methodist Church

Grace United Methodist Church will host a Bible School event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. The theme is “God’s Club!” » Children ages starting kindergarten in the fall through the end of grade 5 starting this spring are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided. First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, Route 35, one mile north of Mifflintown, will hold VBS 6 at 8:30 p.m. June 12-16. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. outside the FMS on Sunday, June 12. Doors open at 5:55 p.m. each night. The theme is “Spark of Light”, which focuses on Ephesians 2:10 and how we are created for good works. There will be Bible lessons, songs, crafts, snacks and more. Pine Glen Covenant Church

Pine Glen Alliance Church, 1058 State Route 103 N., Lewistown, will hold VBS from 6-8 p.m. June 13-17. The theme is concrete and cranes. Sign up at or call (717) 899-7749.

Thompsontown Baptist Church

The Thompsontown Baptist Church, located in the Delaware Terrace Development in Thompsontown, will be holding VBS from 6:30-8:45 p.m. June 13-17 with the theme “Escape into Nature: Where God Guides and Provides.”

United of Saint-Marc

Methodist Church

Valley Parish Bible School will be held June 13-17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Havice Valley Road.

East Salem Otterbein United Mennonite, Delaware


East Salem Otterbein UMC and Delaware Mennonite Churches will hold VBS with the theme “Food Truck Party: We Roll with God” 6-8 p.m. June 19-23 at East Salem UMC 7393 PA-235, Mifflintown. The event is open to young people from 4 to 6 years old.

Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran Church will be hosting a free camp-themed VBS from 6-8 p.m. June 19-23 with the theme “Unlimited: God Beyond Measure” for children from 3 to 6th grade. Register before June 2 to receive a t-shirt. Call (717) 463-3428 or email [email protected] to register.

Great Valley Bible Church

Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville, will hold VBS from 6-8:30 p.m. June 20-24 with the theme “Created by Christ – Designed for His Purpose.” For children entering kindergarten up to children entering 6th grade. Dial (717) 667-3123 to register or leave a message.

Bethel AME Church

Bethel AME Church Hope Center, 23 N. Juniata St., Lewistown, will be 6-8 p.m. June 22-24. Attendees can learn about Jonah the Whale and enjoy crafts and whales.

Lewistown VBS Third Street Church Community

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 120 N. Bass Tuscarora

Presbyterian Church

Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Church in the University District of Mifflin, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. June 27 through July 1. The theme is Explorers of the Rainforest – Jesus Leads the Way. There will be Bible lessons, music, games, snacks and crafts. A picnic for students and families will follow a short presentation by the students on Friday.
