Annual Christmas Bazaar

Chicopée – Sts. The Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Grattan Street, will be holding its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 28 from noon to 4 p.m. Homemade Greek pastries by parishioners of the church all packed to go, a huge range of gift baskets, a variety of Christmas items such as wreaths, trees and signs, and products imported from Greece such as olive oil, honey, coffee, oregano and alcohol. Masks are mandatory for entry.

Advent services

Somers, Connecticut – The Somers Congregational United Church of Christ, 599 Main Street, welcomes everyone to its Advent and Christmas services. Advent services begin on November 28 at 9:30 a.m. and continue every Sunday until December 19. A Christmas show for children will be presented by students from Sunday schools on December 19 at 4.30 p.m. 9 to 7 p.m. A family Christmas Eve service will be held on December 24 at 5:00 p.m. with a traditional Christmas Eve service with communion at 10:00 p.m. All services will take place both in person and live on the YouTube channel of the church: Somers Congregational UCC. Holiday fair and Christmas shop

Ludlow – Ludlow’s First Church, 859 Center Street will be hosting a “Christmas Shoppe” on Friday and Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon on December 3, 4, 10 and 11. With handmade, knitted, crocheted Christmas decor, quilted and handmade items, the Hummingbird Bookstore and Boutique will be open offering fabric, yarn and needlework supplies.

Holiday Craft Fair

Longmeadow – The St. Mary’s Women’s Guild in Longmeadow announces the return of its annual Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, December 4 from 9 am to 2 pm at the St. Mary’s Academy Gymnasium, 56 Hopkins Place. The fair features 30 artisans and craftspeople, a book sale, giant raffle baskets (winners don’t need to be present to win), a cafe bar, baked goods and lunch boxes for sale . Proceeds will be donated to scholarships and charitable projects on behalf of St. Mary’s Parish. Free entry. For more information, call 413-567-3124.

Holiday food drive / blanket and sock drive

Agawam – Sacred Heart Parish Center, 1061 Springfield St. in the Feeding Hills section, will be hosting a food / blankets and socks drive for the West Springfield / Agawam Parish Cupboard. There will be a list of items requested by the Executive Director of The Parish Cupboard of West Springfield / Agawam which you can pick up at the entrances to the church and parish center. This collection will take place until December 21. Your donations can be brought to the church, Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Free weekly veterans lunch

Holyoke – Community Roots Neighborhood Services is offering a free hot breakfast to Veterans and their immediate adult families (parents or spouse). Lunches are held every Thursday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 485 Appleton St. On Thursday, November 25, they will hold the annual Thanksgiving lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the auditorium. All veterans, immediate adult family members and those assisting veterans are invited to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving lunch with all the trimmings, parade and TV football in the company of other veterans . Katz Channukah Family Breakfast

Longmeadow – The B’nai Torah congregation at 2 Eunice Drive, will have their Katz Family Channukah breakfast on Sunday morning, December 5 at 9:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the community in general. Everyone is welcome.

Dinner at the wheel

Agawam – A special drive-through dinner will be hosted by the Agawam Congregational Church Supper Club on Friday, December 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. butter with a ticket price of $ 15. The supper will be held, rain, snow or shine, with vehicles invited to form a drive-thru lane, as for previous suppers, so that suppers can be passed through the window. on the driver’s side after the driver has provided a ticket (s).
