BJP State Chairman Bandi Sanjay Kumar said he was against reservations based on religion and called on the Boya community of Valmiki to unite to rewrite the history of Telangana President Rashtra Samithi ( TRS) and Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
During his 11 and padayatra day which kicked off from Narva village in Narayanpet district on Sunday, Mr Sanjay Kumar said the BJP will tackle community issues after coming to power. He asked why the community was not listed on the ST list by Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao.
“What kind of government do you want to be there? Like the one who treats people like servants or the government that represents the poor? asked Mr. Sanjay Kumar during a public meeting.
Stating that despite Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao’s moon promise, nothing happened in the state after the formation of the state, the BJP Chairman asked why the government is not spending around ₹400 crore to provide water in Narva as he was able to spend ₹1.3 lakh crore to get water for Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao’s farm house in Gajwel.
“We showed a solution to the Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) problem by talking with Union Minister Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. It can be resolved within six months if the state government cooperates,” the BJP chairman said. Alleging that Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao failed to keep his promises, he said several issues were brought to their attention during the padayatra.
As Mr. Sanjay Kumar fell ill due to sunburn and acute gastroenteritis on Sunday during his padayatra, he was treated by doctors who treated him. They said he was weak but his health is good.
