He also commended the Supreme Court’s decision on the list of motions to overturn Section 370 after the summer recess. He asked the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to expedite the hearings which have been slowed down due to the pandemic.

Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir were repealed by the Center on August 5, 2019.

The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir spoke to NC youth activists at headquarters. “I meet young people to understand what they think and what problems they face,” he said, stressing that the meeting was not related to the elections at J&K.

“Since August 2019, many changes have taken place which should not have happened. Any further delay would mean that it would be difficult to reverse the changes,” he told the news agency. PTI.

Many suggestions made by NC to the commission were ignored, Abdullah said, but whatever happened is in the past, he added.

“We argued before the boundary commission that its very existence is illegal. We challenged the reorganization law, which means that the delimitation commission was also challenged,” he further explained.
